Tutorial: Easy Flannel Infinity Scarf
Learn how to make a basic flannel infinity scarf in just 3 steps. This is an super easy project that is perfect for beginner sewists who want to make something that they can actually wear in their daily life this autumn. It’s also great for using up any leftover remnants of flannel fabric that you have leftover from other projects.
Supplies Needed:
(all of my patterns include 1/2″ seam allowance)

Step 1

Sew the short ends of the scarf
With right sides together, sew the scarf into a loop.

Step 2

optional: make a felled seam
For a more finished look, turn the seam allowance under to create a felled seam. Think of this like hemming a the seam allowance so the raw edges don’t show.
Fold the seam allowance underneath itself and sew it in place right along the edge for a nice neat finish.

Step 3

Hem both sides of the scarf
Double-turn hem both long sides of the scarf to finish it.

Finished!
