Supplies Needed:

Step 1

Arrange your fabric scraps
line up your fabric scraps however you like and sew them together. Make sure there is enough to cut out he fish pattern twice.
Step 2

Cut out the fish pattern
After sewing your scraps together, cut out the fish pattern piece from the scrap collage.
Step 3

Sew the zipper band to the zipper
fold over 1/2″ of the zipper band and topstitch it to both sides of the zipper. It’s okay if the zipper is longer than the band, you can trim it later.

Step 4

sew the band to the zipper
with right sides together sew the band to the zipper band along the short sides to create a loop.

Step 5

sew the fish front and back to the side band
with right sides together, sew the scrap fish you cut out earlier to the band. Make sure the zipper is open when you do this.

Step 6
