Tutorial: Ribbon Leaves for flowers
Learn how to make super simple flower leaves with ribbon using this 10-minute tutorial. All you need is a little strand of ribbon and some needle and thread. This tutorial won’t work well with a super thin ribbon, so you’ll want to use something that is about 1/2 inch or wider, depending on how big you want your leaf to be. Grab a spool of ribbon and follow along with the tutorial to make as many little flowers leaves as you need.
Supplies Needed:
Step 1
cut a piece of ribbon that’s twice as long as wide
Step 2
fold over the top edges to the center to create a triangle and baste through the bottom
Step 3
pull the thread to gather the base of the leaf
You may want to sew back and forth through the base of the leaf to secure the shape in place.
