Supplies Needed:

Step 1

sew the zipper to one band piece
place the zipper face down on one band piece and sew it along the edge. It’s okay if the zipper is a little longer than the band. Then press the zipper away from the band.

Step 2

repeat step 1 for the other band piece

Step 3

fold over the two sides of the patch
fold 1/2″ over on the two sides of the patch (not the top) and baste them in place.

Step 4

sew the patch to the cat head
edgestitch the patch to one of the cat heads

Step 5

sew the cat face to the band
with right sides together, sew the cat face pieces to both sides of the band.

Step 6

fold the zipper pouch in half and sew
with right sides together, fold the pouch in half and sew. You can sew through the zipper and cut off the excess tail. Open the zipper before sewing.

Step 7

turn the pouch to the right side
clip the corners and curves and turn the pouch to the right side through the zipper

Finished!
