Tutorial: Simple Fabric Flowers Using Circles
These super simple flowers are made using circles of lightweight fabric scraps that you fold and gather to create cute little flowers. The pattern I included uses circles that are 3 inches in diameter, but you can adjust the size of your circle to make your flowers bigger or smaller, depending on what you like (I tested it at 2 inches, 3 inches, and 4 inches and they all worked well, but I expect the flowers will start to look floppy if you make them too much bigger).

Supplies Needed:

Step 1

fold your circles in half and arrange them in a circle
Arrange the 5 semi circles with the folded edge on the inside and open edges on the outside. Sew around the outer, open edge with a long basting stitch (I recommend hand stitching)

Step 2

Gather the base of the flower
Pull the thread to gather the base of the flower petals.

Step 3

Glue the flower to a hair clip
Hot glue is usually the best type of adhesive for this.

Finished!
