Tutorial: Upcycle An Old T-shirt Into a Pet Bed
Learn how to turn that old, worn out T-shirt into a pet bed. I’ll be honest, this doesn’t make the prettiest of pet beds, but it’s functional. It’s a way to upcycle an old T-shirt into something that can actually be useful. While your at it, you can also use up a bunch of fabric scraps from previous projects to stuff the bed and make it comfy for your pet.

Supplies Needed:
Step 1

Sew the arm together
Sew the arms of your T-shirt together into a loop. To do this, you’ll need to put one arm inside of the other so the cuffs meet up. Then sew them together around the edge.

Step 2

Stuff the arms
Use old fabric scraps, poly-fill or other stuffing material to stuff the arm pillows of the pet bed.

Step 3

sew the bottom of the shirt
Step 4

Put the arms into the shirt through the neck hole
Put the arms inside the shirt and arrange them in a loop.
Step 5

sew the base of the bed
Sew the base of the pet bed to keep the arm pillows in place along the outside of the pet bed. Note: it might be easier to hand stitch this part.

Finished!
